Weeping Willow

Ethereal and dramatic, Weeping Willow is full of depth and movement. Inspired by the willows as they transition from spring into summer, airy evenings at twilight; a blending of the cool and warm light and colours that make that time so magical.

Hundreds of sheer leaves of different tonal aquas, greens, and a touch of gold iridescence are suspended from hand painted and beaded silk threads that sway with every movement and breeze. The silk base is a changeant silk dupioni of pale sagey aqua shot with a flaxen gold. Clusters of crystal, pearls, and natural stones carefully chosen in a variety of sizes and colours are mounted on gold wires and hand placed for just enough sparkle to enhance without overwhelming. The asymmetrical hems suggest the gentle leaning silhouette that makes these trees so beautiful.

The matching crown is made of delicate gold tone wire, accented with a pear focal stone, and shimmering drops. The back features a beaded wire braid and cascades of leaves fall gently from the temples, accented with beaded clusters.
